Jake had his first soccer game last Saturday.  He managed to score a goal, but spent most of the time guarding both goals.  It was so fun, all of us enjoyed it.  Here are some photos:

Jake - Soccer

Jake has had his first soccer practices this week.  The first one was kind of unorganized, but the second was fun.  Jake started out the practice by doing yoga moves that he saw me do on the wii fit:)  The coach had him playing goalie and after scoring a goal for the other team during a scrimmage, he managed to block a goal pretty well.  Score one for Jake.  Saturday is his first game.  In true soccer mom fashion, I will post some photos of that.

Here's Jake one and only soccer picture to date.  He had "team placement" tryouts on Saturday and of course, my battery on my camera ran out so more photos are forthcoming from future practices.  He wasn't this aloof the entire time:)

A visit with Memaw Ruby at Hearthstone. 

Yeah!  Jake made it through his tonsillectomy just fine.  He was a little groggy at first, but, jumping on the hospital bed in no time.  Thanks for all of your well wishes.  Also, we got to visit with Memaw Ruby on Wednesday, I will be posting pics later on today.
